What are the risks?
Injectables always carry a small risk and of course, there are side effects to every kind of procedure. But, with needles, you’re most likely to experience only mild redness, swelling, bruising and tenderness. This typically eases in a matter of days, doesn’t usually affect day-to-day life and is often managed simply with over-the-counter pain relief. Any risks, of course, will be discussed with you during your consultation – and the decision to go ahead with any treatment is always down to you, with no pressure or judgement from ourselves.
What else could I try?
The only alternative is a surgical procedure. However, surgery carries greater risks (such as infection and scarring), typically requires lengthy downtime and can be a more invasive, painful method. Surgery is also permanent – with non-surgical rhinoplasty, results will fade over time, so it’s your choice whether you top up or change your approach in the future.
